Collaborating with Patients and Practitioners, Empowering you with Holistic Fertility Treatment and Support
At Collaborative Care, we support you wherever you are on your journey. We have 15 years of expertise in holistic fertility treatment. As your provider, we not only address the physical reasons behind fertility challenges, but we also create the space to work through the emotional aspects of the journey, as well.
Founded in 2007, Collaborative Care is a traditional Chinese medicine and natural fertility clinic. Our focus on reproductive health and fertility is founded in a holistic approach combining acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutritional guidance, emotional support and self-care techniques.
For women whose journey to a successful pregnancy has included multiple rounds of IVF, we have developed a highly effective holistic treatment regimen. Our goal is to provide emotional and physical support to you while nurturing your reproductive health. We also work with women and couples trying to get pregnant naturally who want to enhance and optimize their fertility health.
“Collaborative Care and Jackie’s treatments made a huge difference for me as I struggled with some unknown fertility issues. I immediately felt Jackie listened and truly cared about helping me to my goal of getting pregnant with a healthy baby and after three months of treatment I had accomplished that goal. I highly recommend Collaborative care for anyone else looking for this type of treatment associated with their own fertility issues.”Sara L., Chicago
“Jackie never made me feel rushed and over time I started feeling more like myself (maybe my hormones were coming back into balance?). My husband even commented that he didn’t know what I did there or how it worked but that I seemed like a happier, more adjusted person after I started seeing Jackie. I really wish I had found Jackie sooner as she was most definitely “MVP” of my fertility team. She helped me through a really difficult period of my life (physically and emotionally) and I can’t thank her enough!”Abby F., Chicago
“I had struggled with infertility for a year and was down to IVF as my last option. I met with Jackie before my IVF cycle and she prepped me for the cycle as well as guided me and treated me through the entire IVF cycle. I am finally pregnant with the help of IVF and Jackie’s work. I would recommend Jackie 10 times over because she is knowledgeable about fertility issues and actually explains how the treatment works to improve your chances. She is compassionate and caring on top of it all!”Meg P, NY
“Jackie is amazing! I struggled with infertility for 2 years and saw her through several IUI and IVF cycles. I’m currently 6 months pregnant and definitely feel like I have Jackie to thank. She is so knowledgeable about all the stages of IUI and IVF. She is also so positive, reassuring, and calming. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone at any stage in the fertility process!”Laura C., Chicago
“I started working with Jackie because at 40 years old, I wanted to enter this process as strong and healthy as possible. We conceived the first month of working with Jackie. Not only that, but my entire pregnancy has been virtually symptom free. I feel amazing and I owe a lot of this to starting off from a strong place with Jackie’s program. Whether you have infertility issues or not, I highly recommend that you see her when you plan to conceive. I know it made all the difference to us.”Heidi A., Chicago
“Jackie was a tremendous help to my husband and I in a stressful and emotional time. She is a very capable and caring person who really invests herself in patient care. We struggled with fertility after I was diagnosed with PCOS, and within 3 months of seeing Jackie I was pregnant! I kept going to Jackie even after we conceived because it was such a relaxing and stress relieving activity. I am so grateful to have met Jackie and would highly recommend her services.”Adrienne Y., Chicago
“I came to Jackie when I decided to move forward with egg retrievals in preparation for IVF at age 38. My doctor informed me that I was technically “infertile” as indicated by low AMH levels. I saw Jackie in preparation for three retrievals. She is super knowledgeable and compassionate with an excellent bedside manner; you cannot find someone kinder than her. Each retrieval was successful and in total we got close to 20 eggs over the 3 retrievals. Fast forward to age 41 and I again visited Jackie to prep my body for FET (frozen embryo transfer). The FET worked on the first try and I recently gave birth to a very healthy baby girl. I strongly credit Jackie for a lot of this. I don’t know why modern medicine doesn’t focus on basics such as diet and stress. I can not recommend her enough!”M.L., Chicago
“After a scary and stressful experience with ectopic pregnancy, I wanted to do something to help my body heal and do everything I could to prepare for a new, healthy pregnancy. I feel so lucky to have found Jackie, as her care was exactly what my body needed. She is one of the most thoughtful, detailed and supportive people I have ever met. I’m so incredibly happy to report that I started a healthy pregnancy in the second month under Jackie’s care, and now have a very healthy and happy baby girl. I highly recommend Collaborative Care.”Audra K., Chicago
“My husband and I were trying for our second child. We got pregnant quickly with the first, but it was 4 years later, I was almost 40 and we’d been trying for 7+ months when I contacted Jackie. My goal was to get pregnant naturally and if not, at least work with my body through fertility treatments to get pregnant. She very quickly took a holistic look at both of us, made lifestyle adjustments and we started treatment (Chinese herbs and acupuncture). Within 2 months, my husband and I were expecting our second child! I think saw her through my first 10 weeks to get through the high risk time-frame for miscarriage. She was fantastic through the process and she carries my highest recommendation.”C.Q., Chicago
“Before seeing Jackie, I struggled with becoming pregnant for just about 2 years. My husband and I continued working with our fertility doctor without luck. After IVF, I overstimulated and went to emergency. At that point, I knew I needed to make a change. I’m a person that eats clean (along with my lifestyle) and something in me knew I needed to adjust my diet and that I would get pregnant on my own. I started doing research – this is when I found Jackie. I had seen acupuncturists in the past, but when I met her, I felt comfortable and relaxed. It was soothing to talk to her. She took into account my previous experiences and health issues. I immediately changed my diet based on her recommendations. I started seeing her in October and I had a positive pregnancy test later that November. I call Jackie our miracle worker because I believe that at the time she was exactly what I needed.”Jennifer R., Chicago
“Jackie is wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about her. I had a hard time as I was scared of needles. She was very reassuring, listened to my fears and always explained why and where she would be putting the needles. I also have a hard time sitting and relaxing. She always made sure I was comfortable and let use the sessions the way I needed by letting my husband attend to have someone to talk with to take my mind off of the process. Jackie has extensive knowledge and I really appreciated that she never pushed products or treatments and her availability is great. I was pregnant after my first month of going to Jackie via IUI. My body really responded to her treatments and dietary suggestions.”Cheryl S., Chicago
Jacqueline O’Neill, MSTOM, L.Ac.
I believe the most effective therapy happens in a safe treatment space with attentive, consistency of care. Wonderful things can happen when individuals feel safe and can trust in the process. That is how I am able to do my best work.”
Currently based in Pasadena, California, Jackie founded Collaborative Care in 2007 in Chicago. During her 15 years of practice there, Jackie became one of Chicagoland’s “go-to” Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) providers for women experiencing prolonged fertility journeys. Her proprietary treatment has helped hundreds of patients with previously poor fertility diagnoses to achieve full-term pregnancies. Jackie’s experience working with women and couples facing a broad range of infertility challenges has honed her expertise in creating highly successful, unique treatment protocols using a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and nutritional support. This diverse experience treating a range of infertility cases makes her a highly valued resource for her patients.
The daughter of a downtown Los Angeles neighborhood pharmacist, Jackie always knew that she wanted a career in medicine, but it was her interest in botany that clarified her intent and aided in her decision to pursue a degree in Chinese medicine.
Jackie received her master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she taught a series of Chinese herb classes. She is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology, an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. Jackie’s relocation to Pasadena brings her closer to family, and she is eager to bring her expertise to Southern California.
