We arrived in the US in 2017 with 3 failed IVFs behind us and two estimations from different hospitals: one was 6% and the other was 15% of possibilities to get pregnant. We were charged with lots of expectations when we met a fertility specialist in Chicago but he estimated the worst-case scenario: 1% chance of succeeding. All of them agreed that I had to start evaluating donor eggs. We decided for the last try but, this time, combining conventional and Chinese medicine. We met Jackie and, from the beginning, she was clear and honest about how tricky was my situation: low ovarian reserve, an ovary seriously damaged by a wrong laparoscopy, irregular periods since the beginning, lack of ovulation, big cysts when I was not taking birth-controlling pill and three failed IVFs.
Jackie did not promise anything sure but, after starting the treatment, I had regular period and ovulation. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to achieve a natural pregnancy but combining Chinese medicine and IVFs I was able to start 2 pregnancies in less than 4 months. Unfortunately I miscarried the first time but now it seems that we’ll be able to meet our “victory” in February 2019.
It’s pretty evident this would have never been possible without Jackie, we thank you for the great and tailored job you did!
